FIBER REINCARNATED OR RECYCLE POLYESTER STAPLE FIBER MANUFACTURER
FIBER REINCARNATED OR RECYCLE POLYESTER STAPLE FIBER MANUFACTURER
Polyester Staple fiber (PSF) is a manmade staple fiber made up of PET
(Polyethylene Terephthalate) Polymer, which is generally termed as
Polyester in common language of textile industry. Polyester Staple
Fiber (PSF) can be is made directly from PTA and MEG (Raw Material of
PET CHIPS) through a continuous process (CP) plant or from PET CHPS
or from recycling of PET or Polyester waste. Polyester Staple fiber
made up from recycling of PET waste is known as Recycle Polyester
Staple Fiber (RPSF).
Manufacturing process of Recycle Polyester Staple Fiber (RPSF)
Recycle
Polyester Staple Fiber (RPSF) is being manufactured by recycling
PET or Polyester waste. There are two type of recycling process i.e.
Mechanical Recycling and Chemical Recycling.
Chemical Recycling:
After sorting, grinding and cleaning of PET waste, PET is chemically
converted to monomer or partially depolymerized to oligomer. Those
depolymerized monomer or oligomer is further used in polymerization
process for manufacturing of Polyethylene Terephthalate.
Mechanical Recycling:
Mechanical recycling is physical process in which there is no change
in basic structure of polymer. After Sorting, cleaning, cutting,
shredding and washing plastic waste is being converted in appropriate
granules or Flakes. These Flakes or granules are melted to make a new
product by extrusion.
Almost all drinking bottles (mineral water, cold drink etc) are made
up of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and widely available. Today
Post consumer drinking bottles are widely being used for
manufacturing of Recycle Polyester Staple Fiber by Mechanical
recycling.
A brief process introduction is as follows:
After
washing and crushing of Post consumer bottles, PET bottles are being
converted in PET Washed Flakes. Hot Washed PET flakes
are being converted in Recycle Polyester Staple Fiber through
spinning and drawing process.
Application of Recycle Polyester Staple Fiber
Being manufactured from PET based Plastic material, Recycle Polyester
Staple fiber is gaining popularity due to its eco-friendliness and
use of the same is increasing day by day. Today Recycle Polyester
Staple Fiber is widely used for manufacturing of SPURN Yarn, which is
being used in different Garments. Apart from conventional textile
sector Recycle Polyester Staple Fiber is being used in manufacturing
of non-woven and technical textile sector i.e. carpets, curtains,
filters, geo textiles, automobiles, pillows, toys, cushions, quilts
and many more.
Specification
of Recycle Polyester Staple Fiber
Recycle
Polyester Staple Fiber mainly can be classified into two category
i.e. SOLID and HOLLOW Polyester Staple Fiber. Hollow Polyester Staple
Fiber has different shaped cavity inside the cross section whereas
there is no cavity in solid polyester staple fiber. Solid Polyester
Staple Fiber is being mainly used in spinning sector whereas hollow
polyester staple fiber is being used in non-woven and technical
textile sectors.
Solid as well as hollow polyester staple fiber can be classified into
on the basis of certain properties like denier, cut length, shade
(color). Hollow Polyester Staple Fiber can be further classified
based on finish of the fiber i.e. siliconized, conjugated, slick or
dry PSF.
Based on different properties, different types of Recycle
Polyester Staple Fiber are available at JB
ECOTEX LLP, which are as follows:
